If you're new here - which is everyone at the time I'm writing this - you're probably wondering how I started this. And even if you're not wondering...I'm gonna tell ya.
So. Why did I decide to start an online store? I had a few reasons.
I Love Art
The first is that I love being creative. I always have. But I was always too much of a perfectionist to draw or paint or...anything like that. I wrote - write - and I was content with writing beautiful things. So the visual art piece was never something that I wanted or felt comfortable or good enough to do.
But then I learned how to do lettering and calligraphy. And it was amazing to me that I could make paintings out of words. And it was something I was good at! And it worked with so many things I'm interested in - books, movies, Marvel, my religion, etc.
As I got better, I saw an opportunity to make a little extra cash - and also share my creations with my friends and family - and all of you!
Tiny Living
The second is that my husband and I are planning on living in a converted ambulance (and eventually bus) and travel. We've been obsessed with tiny living for forever and we currently live in my husband's parents' driveway in an ambulance we've converted ourselves. And we're working on getting remote jobs (and for this stupid pandemic to go away) so that we can travel full time.
We love travelling and exploring new places together. And also, since I am from the states and my husband is from Canada, driving our house around is so useful to visit family and friends who live all over North America. And this business is a good way for me to work on the road! I'm also working on some other ventures that I'll let you know about when they get a little more up and running.
But that's why I'm here! I want to add some beauty into the world and help support my family and lifestyle that we want to live! I'm glad to be on this journey with y'all.
